I will try to get you some code this weekend from Lightburn. Nathan, I would be interested to see some sample Gcode please. A lot more work is required to see what can be achieved with this method. The 4 images were machined at different speeds and different line spacing and as you see give vastly different results. The software I used is free but to get the best image out of it I needed to put a 1 pixel border around the picture to allow time for the axis to accelerate to speed between lines. The image is not Grayscale but dithered, so it consists on only black and white dots. If you have a slow axis and a powerful laser this could be lead to excess burning. The Laser operates at full power and relies on the speed of the axis to control the burn intensity. There is no PWM possible at present with this setup. This is wired differently to the Laser earlier in this post. This is using the new M62 & M63 commands introduced to the G3 which allow the laser to turn on and off as it moves along without hesitating at each move. Here are my test results with setting up a laser on Masso.
